It was the familiarity of these vets that kept me watching. It was like tuning in on old friends. Now, I guess some younger viewers feel that way about Maurice and Steve Burton, but I NEVER liked those characters, and they don't harken back to the glory days of GH. Maybe that is the point. They don't want to remind viewers about just how great these characters were....and how great GH was in the day. Who is left from the 80's? I think just Jackie Zeman and Leslie Charleson who are recurring an rarely seen. Would it have killed them to call back Kin Shriner once in a while? Geesh
