I have not seen any response from Genie concerning the 55th year episode but there is no way they can celebrate 55 years without mentioning Genie and Luke and Laura. I can't imagine that type of celebration and Genie not being part of it. I think NV was just trying to sugarcoat things. I'm not holding my breath for Genie to return anytime soon.
