James, I've been watching GH on and off since 1969. I took a ten year break from '83 to '93. When Tony left, I hung on for a while, but the mob theme really disturbs me. As much as I love Genie, Laura/Kevin was not of too much interest to me. They have to give Laura something exciting to do to get me back. Genie is a great actress. It is a shame to relegate her to being grandma. She is young and beautiful. She should be the lynchpin of the show. They have decided that families don't really matter. The kind of emotionally-driven stories that I want to see are not being written. So, let me know if the commitment changes. Otherwise, I will remain in the shadows except for things like the anniversary.
