I sorta understood and thought it was stupid at the same time but looking back from old woman perspective... And what I tell my daughter..you're gonna make a lot of decisions that seem good at the time, make sense at the time but later ...smh..your gonna wonder if you were on drugs or crazy and why didn't someone stop you. I think they didn't want to be on an Island/beach. or anywhere cold or around a lot of people. They felt safe there and mostly wanted to have sex and eat. ..plus it was "their special place".
