But Dylan Thomas sure had a way with words, didn't he?
Do not go gently into that good night,
Old age should burn and rage at the close of day,
Rage rage rage against the dying of the light.

It was my 11th birthday when my parents gave me the album "The Kingston Trio Goin' Places",
knowing full well I was a big fan of Nick Bob & Dave (in 1961).
I played that record over and over again which probably drove my Mom & Dad bonkers.
I still listen to "Goin' Places" although it seems like I first heard it a hundred years ago.

Ken, I think you've made a wise decision. We all know, whether we want to admit it or not, that what's left of the Folk Era is disappearing. Not only is interest fading, but the fan base is decreasing incrementally by the day as time takes its toll. I hate to say it, but to try to continue is like spitting against the tide. Meanwhile, we'll enjoy the almost two years that we have left together as we ride it down. Thanks very much for hosting us over the years but time does march on and, sooner or later, everything must end. Fortunately for us it's been later.
