you haven't heard from me for a while .... because ...

For about 3 weeks ... I was fighting a summer cold.

Knocked the crap out of me....

I've been hard at work on a special project.

Before I go on ... Ken ... I hope you're doing OK.

I work pretty much 24/7.

Keep odd hours.

while I'm asleep ... my brain keeps cranking ....

Gotta cat that keeps me company.

His name is Walter.

He's a cow cat....has markings like a cow.

Wondered in here about 6 months ago.

Don't know where he came from.

He was someone's pet.

Been fixed. Is part house cat. Loves to hunt.

At any rate, I do 99% of my work at a computer.

When I need a break ... I watch old movies on Netflix, Youtube and Amazon.

There are a few old TV series that I watch.

I recently discovered that Harry O is on the internet.

The first year of it. In 1974.

It was only on for two years.

One of my all time favorite TV series.

Mainly because it stars David Janssen.

Because he was in that great doctor series.... you know the one.

In Harry O he plays a private detective.

Live on the beach in Nick's home town... Coronado.

They've shown the hotel a few times. Where Some Like It Hot was located and shot.

Jackee once stayed there... while attending a seminar.

We went to California in 1985. First went to San Diago.

It was for a conference that Jackee attended.

While she was in Meetings... I visited Coranado. I found Nick's sisters and had a nice visit with one of them. Nick always sent them news items about the Trio's shows when he was on the road. they have a giant scrap book of clippings. One of them died a while back. For a time, one of Nick's bother-in-laws was their road manager. I still have their phone numbers in my rolodex.

At any rate ...below is a link to the Harry o Shows and in one of them a two-parter ... David plays a tenor banjo. It looked to me that he was doing it... not faking it.
