Seems like forever! {such a long long time}
Right now, I've been washing the egg off my face due to the recent post I made about "Shirley" down below.
I wasn't sure if Shirley was a real person and assumed it was a phonetic word used by Dave Guard:
"Surely - It Takes A Worried Man To Sing A Worried Song"
Turns out Shirley was a real person, after all.
Shirley Yelm worked for Kingston Trio manager Frank Werber.
So feelin' kinda dumb, I nearly didn't return here....but 2 posts brought me back:
1) Bob Ware - who understood about Dave Guard's "dry wit" and cheered me up some! {Thank You, Bob}
2) George Grove - 41 years with The Kingston Trio is nuthin' to sneeze at! {A-Choo} Gazunt-heit !!!
