Yes, I was suffering from High Blood Pressure and for awhile it was out of control....
but it seems to be better right now.

In fact, I even asked the Doctor if I'm dying?

He folded his arms, looked at me and said:

"Life is a fatal disease. Once a person is born...they have to die."

I snapped back ----

"If you're tryin' to cheer me up, Doc...it ain't working."

And Ken - I hope things are improving with your health too.

It's much easier being younger, that's for sure.

Actually, I've got a cute little story that should help bring down your high blood pressure.
It's related to David Bowie's "Space Oddity" in an odd way!

Several years ago, a bunch of us girls happened to meet actress Mary McDonnell when we were visiting Los Angeles.
She played Captain Raydor in the TV series "Major Crimes."

Ms McDonnell was very nice and joked with us about the series and producer Jim Duff.
When she first got started Mary appeared nervous so producer Duff said to her:

(imitating David Bowie)

"Ground Control to Major Crimes; Ground Control to Major Crimes; settle down Captain Raydor or I'll have to phone Kyra."

(Kyra Sedgwick starred in "The Closer" prior to "Major Crimes.")

Everybody on the set was laughing and the TV crime drama lasted six seasons.
Mary McDonnell also signed autographs.
