I watched the S&G Central Park concert on PBS last night. Art Garfunkel is appearing in concert at the "Fisher Theatre" here in Detroit in October. He's having an extended tour in U S and Europe .

For a few months now, I've been one third of the "Elderly Brothers Trio". This is Tom Lambs group (Tom had been a designated banjo player in the "Camp" band). Another local fella,, a tenor, Mike Day and myself in the "Bob" spot.

This same local PBS channel that is promoting the Art Garfunkel concert, recently hired us for a fund raiser show where we played at a local theatre. The show went over really well.

It seems like a natural thing that we should be Art's "Warm up" act. I guess we're still waiting for that call. :>)
