Interestingly enough, our guys weren't known as "Protest" singers. It was once stated that PPM wanted to save the world, the Kingston Trio, wanted to entertain it.

When the Kingston Trio appeared on the Sha Na Na show, Bowser thanked them at the end of the show for not "Protesting" too much.
