Here's something different for this board: it's the Grateful Dead's rendition of this old folk classic, performed in the Home Of The Buffalo Bills. For folks who may not have gotten into The Dead, this could be an accessible electric performance with wonderful play between Jerry's plaintive voice and Brent Mydland's dynamic Hammond B3 with Leslie speakers; for those unfamiliar with the brand, they're the ones with the spinning elements inside that produce that wonderful swirling tone.
Cold Rain and Snow
Song by Grateful Dead Well, I married me a wife, she's been trouble all my life
Run me out in the cold rain and snow
Rain and snow
Run me out in the cold rain and snow Well, she's comin' down the stairs, combin' back her yellow hair
And I ain't gonna be treated this a-way
This a-way
And I ain't gonna be treated this a-way Well, she went up to her room, and she sang her fateful tune
And I'm goin' where those chilly winds don't blow
Winds don't blow
And I'm goin' where those chilly winds don't blow Well, I married me a wife, she's been trouble all my life
Run me out in the cold rain and snow
Rain and snow
Run me out in the cold rain and snow Run me out in the cold rain and snow
Run me out in the cold rain and snow
Run me out in the cold rain and snow
Run me out in the cold rain and snow
Run me out in the cold rain and snow
