It was on their third album "Northern Journey" which hardly left our record player!
I also enjoyed The Kingston Trio's version (with a strong lead vocal by John Stewart) as well as Judy Collins - but not as much.
As for "Seasons In The Sun" - I also prefer The Kingston Trio's version over Terry Jacks. Nobody could beat Bob Shane.

Thanks, Larry! Let me clarify that I like Ian & Sylvia's and Judy Collins's versions of "Someday Soon" but prefer the Kingston Trio's version over those. Probably, because I heard the Trio's version first, and it stuck with me. In a similar sense, I preferred The Kingston Trio's version of "Seasons In The Sun" over Terry Jacks's slower version released a few years later.

Whooops! I almost forgot.
I meant to post Ian & Sylvia's original "Someday Soon" above ~> so here it is now:

I've always liked the Trio's version of "Someday Soon" the best. Of all the artists who've performed the song, I feel the Trio's faster pace enhances the cowboy's possible uncertainty about the future of his romance. Sorry, Judy, after hearing the Trio's version first, your version sounds plodding.
