Kingston Crossroads: Re: Kingston Trio and Friends Reunion

I didn’t own a VCR when the Friends Reunion was first broadcast on PBS. So I rented one from a local appliance/electronics rental store. I got the VCR connected to my cable system in plenty of time before the scheduled broadcast and my cable system went out. I now own a DVD copy of the show. I haven’t watched in a while and I now plan to correct that situation. Thanks for your post Terry!

Last night I watched the video of The "Kingston Trio and Friends Reunion. That's right the VIDEO...watched it on my VCR. So much fun from 1981. 45 short years ago!

I think I have all the available Kingston Trio videos either DVD or VHS. Watching this one brings a tear. Bob, Nick, Dave, John, Roger, Tommy Smothers, Mary Travers....all gone. George is the "Last Man Standing".. Here's hoping George remains standing for a long long time!
