This means the chances of a democracy-protective military coup by others are lessened, and 249 years of striving to uphold honor, tradition, and values may be sadly for naught.

Ken, my great hope is that there will be a 2026 election to provide us with maybe a last clear shot at redemption. Meanwhile the grifting and self-aggrandizement goes on at a dizzying pace, with real people living in the real world being steam-rolled. I know my dad didn't die on D-Day for this insanely warped version of freedom.
