Nice that you are near Madison. My son will have a connection to the regatta this year. The fella that drives his boat, ALSO drives one of the unlimited. J. Michael Kelly. Last year the unlimited was sponsored by Beacon Electric. Not sure who sponsor is for 2026. Tim's smaller boat is "Y 41" "Shenanigans". Tim is on the crew of the big boat as well as being the radio guy.
The subject of friends always reminds me, for no useful reason, of an interview I once saw with Charles Bronson. He was asked who his friends were in Hollywood and replied "I don't Have any Friends!" I've been using that line for years. Why? I dunno, just thought it was funny.
Good friends we are...as with all Crossroads friends...BTW
I've "Re joined" a folk trio just recently. We've filmed some stuff for PBS...More on that later.

I'm talking about friends I've known the longest.
I first met George in 1976.
You and I first met some time after that.
And, I certainly consider you to be a good friend.
Our paths crossed in many ways. Physically and interest wise.
You have no idea how much my life changed after you sent me that box of books.
We're now living in Bedford, KY again, which you know is near Madison, Indiana and the regatta.
