That's a long time.........

Back in the day .........

I never went more than 3 months without seeing the Trio.

I first met George in 1976 .....

George is now my oldest living friend.

Everyone else I ever knew before George is pushing up daises.


Let me tell you .... these guys have nailed EVERYTHING in their show .... very, very tight.

Fantastic show !!!!!

But ........ GOD being with Bob, George and the 3rd guy (Nick for some time) and Paul was my life for a very, very long time.

Undoubtedly the best part in many respects.


I started to think about it after Rick called and damn near cried.

Boy.... do I ever miss Shane !!!!!!!!!!

A once in a lifetime .... 15 year run. That's about how long it lasted.

In about .... 1970... maybe 1969 ... the NEW Kingston Trio did a show in Lexington, Ky, because that's where Pat Horine was from .... and after the first song .... Shane said ...

"Getting Old Sucks!!!!!!!!"

He wasn't 50 yet.

It's been a heck of a ride and and at almost 81 ... I'm still going.
