For the last several years, I've had a tradition of drinking a six-pack of cans of Great Lakes Brewing Company's Edmund Fitzgerald Porter. I open and drink a can from the six-pack on November 5th of the current year and drink a subsequent can each day, culminating on November 10th.

Back in 1977, when I first started singing out in bars and restaurants, Gordon Lightfoot's "Wreck Of The Edmund Fitzgerald' was an immediate addition to my repertoire. The song was always an audience favorite.
