No .... I'm not talking about Trump.

Because of Trump, there's no limit to what can happen in the world we're living in now.

I get dozens of pop-ups every day from Fortune Magazine that tell me what ridiculous things he's just done.

I don't read any of them.

Because I know that there is no stopping this guy.

But, maybe not.

Jackee, my wife, keeps up with the things he does. I think it's a waste of time. And, effort.

We're just going to have to wait him out.

Except, I also have serious doubts as to whether the Democrats will be able to find a candidate that will be able to beat his successor.

Right now, our country, insofar as anything having to do with government, is in a world of hurt.

I think the best thing to do is ... avoid anything having to do with government the best you can.

But, this isn't hardly possible.

I'm certain that this country will survive in spite of its government.

Because ... every day hard working people keep this country going.

Not government.

But, this is not why I'm posting here today.

What has astonished me that I want to tell you about maybe is not so astonishing.

I'm not a big fan of Facebook.

I'm on it.

I once made an effort to get some "friends" but I quickly found it to not be my cup of tea.

Jackee, on the other hand, practically lives by it.

I don't get it.

But, it is a way to keep up with old friends and I can't fault that.

So, every day, I get pop-ups from Facebook.

If they involve someone I care about, I'll read it.

This morning ... I got a pop-up from my friend James Taylor.

The singer-songwriter. That guy.

Who I don't really know on a personal basis and he certainly doesn't know me.

What the pop-up said was that JT had commented upon the death of a guy.

Someone I'd never heard of.

Turns out ... the guy was a big James Taylor fan.

That's all.

Just a fan.

But, James Taylor offered his condolences ...

What do you think of that?

Pretty cool.

It shows that in spite of EVERYTHING the people of our country still care about each other.
