I've always been a big fan of THE BROTHERS FOUR and even met the "original" guys backstage:
Bob Flick / Mike Kirkland / John Payne / Dick Foley. All of them very nice and receptive to their fans. A class act, all of them.
They even signed my BMOC LP album cover. A prized posession of mine!
If Bob Flick sees this, I give him my condolences on the loss of Loni Anderson who married Bob (aged 62) in 2008.
I've always had a secret crush on Loni (don't tell my wife) when she starred in the fabulous TV series: WKRP In Cincinatti.
Before Bob Flick, Loni was married to Burt Reynolds, who became my favorite actor on GUNSMOKE.
He played a "half-breed" Indian named Quint. So from "Quint" to a Folk Singer, Loni married both these two gentlemen.
RIP: Loni Anderson (1945-2025)

The New York Times obit has a little background on her and Bob Flick:
"In 2008, Ms. Anderson married the musician Bob Flick, her fourth husband, who was a founding member of the 1960s folk group the Brothers Four.
The two had met more than four decades before, on May 17, 1963, as part of a fan photo opportunity for Mr. Flick’s band. Exactly 45 years later, they cut into a wedding cake decorated with that first photo of them."
