I'm 80 and according to the life insurance life expectancy tables ... at best I have 8.35 years left to live.
But, my father was showing signs of dementia at age 73 and he died when he was 76.
My mother completely lost her marbles at age 85 and died at age 87.
My short term memory is shot.
I have difficulty thinking of words.
I've totally forgotten about half my life.
So, I'm headed for ya ya land.
My mother died of heart failure, and she had a heart condition.
But, her mother had Alzheimer's and she did too.
Thankfully, her heart got her first.
