I hope I'm not offending anyone by posting my feelings, but things are not "normal" anymore. Maybe there's a chance things can be stopped from getting worse before we can hopefully make things better.

I totally agree with you, Ken. [100%]
The world was never perfect, but like you, I really don't like the direction it's going in: Age Of Ignorance
(scary isn't it?)
As a young kid, I recall an incident where my Dad and I were walking downtown and we saw a young boy
pushing his Father in a wheelchair. (his Father had no legs)
My Dad looks at me and says:
"There But For The Grace of God, Go I."
I never forgot that expression and it cropped up again when I listened to Phil Ochs' song:
>>> THERE BUT FOR FORTUNE
- song written by Phil Ochs (in 1963)

Sue, sadly, I think for some in the world we're now in the Age Of Ignorance ... or an attempt at creating it ... Previous Message
I remember an interview when Peter Yarrow (of Peter, Paul & Mary) talked about Buddy Mondlock's song The Kid.
Peter made reference to Albert Einstein saying imagination is greater than knowledge.
Einstein's quote suggests that imagination can drive innovation and explore new possibilites....
while knowledge is more about understanding the existing world.
