Come back with me to 1967....
The song "What A Wonderful World" was recorded by Louis Armstrong and did not initially become a hit in the United States.
BUT it did in fact become a #1 hit a year later (1968) in the United Kingdom. Queen Elizabeth loved the song!
In the U.S. "Wonderful World" gained significant popularity after being featured in the 1987 film "Good Morning Vietnam" (starring Robin Williams).
Louis Armstrong's song was re-released (ABC Records) as a single in 1988, reaching #33 on the Billboard Top 100 charts.

In March 1971, Louis Armstrong (69) suffering from heart problems and lying in a New York Hospital, told his Doctor:
"My whole life, my whole soul, my whole spirit, is to blow that horn."

"Note"worthy comment from a YouTube listener:
Louis Armstrong didn't just sing this song.
He painted a picture of hope and beauty with his voice.
