Max and Gerry - thanks guys! I forgot all about Carly Simon.
Haven't listened to "No Secrets" in years. Admittedly, I bought the album for the cover.
I did the same thing with Herb Alpert's "Whipped Cream & Other Delights."
Great LP covers and great albums too. Time to take these records off the shelf! I'll begin with Carly:

No, not you, Max ! (hahaha)
I've always liked Carly Simon and I've got her #1 selling album "No Secrets" (released in 1972).
Bob Shane's "She Was Too Good To Me" will always top my list for other reasons besides the song itself.
1962 was a special time for me and hence the album title: "Something Special".
In fact, one of songs recorded for "Something Special" was "All The Good Times Are Past And Gone" but was dropped.
John Stewart gave the reason:
"Song seemed out of place. Nobody was depressed in 1962."
Carly Simon's album "No Secrets" was a winner and included the much talked about "You're So Vain".
So who was Carly referring to?
Probably actor Warren Beatty whom Carly dated in the early 1970's. But Carly Simon sure got around.
Other men on her "vain" list?
James Taylor (Carly's first husband)
Mick Jagger
Cat Stevens
Kris Kristofferson
Jack Nicholson
Bob Rafelson
David Bowie
David Cassidy
Aw shucks!
Seems like we didn't make the list, Max.

Missed opportunity....she could have done better with this one....
Going through this list ... I'd forgotten how many of them I have.... I should get theones I don't have.
I read her book, but don't remember anything in it.
