Thanks for the Suze Rotolo link. I remember when I first saw Bob Dylan's FREEWHEELIN' album, I immediately had a crush on that beautiful gal clutching onto him.
(turned out to be Suze Rotolo) >>> so I bought the LP for the cover.
I needed to bring that sexy chic home with me! [yeah, I was envious]
What I didn't know was how addictive this new Bob Dylan album would be, and it literally lifted Dylan to another level. A far cry from Bob's first album, a year ago.
FREEWHEELIN' hardly left our record player!
Going back to the lovely Suze Rotolo, she drove Bob Dylan crazy! He was so much in love and infatuated with her. When Suze decided to extend her stay in Italy,
Bob couldn't sleep and ended up writing "Don't Think Twice, It's All Right" at 3 o'clock in the morning.
I guess things were not exactly "All Right" - but Bob Dylan's songwriting ability had the power to sustain him. Big Time!
