My wife, Jackee, and I graduated from Western Kentucky University, in Bowling Green, Kentucky in 1967.
Two years before that, Western only had local fraternities and sororities. In 1965, all of them became part of national organizations.
Jackee's local sorority became an ADPi chapter.
10 years later, while living in Louisville, we went back for the 10 year celebration, which was held in a big meeting room at a hotel.
That night, a new TV show was on, and one of the guests was Paul Simon.
It was Saturday Night Live.
I went upstairs just in time to see Simon on a TV in the Lobby.
I never liked the show. Still don't. I thought most of their stuff was stupid.
I intended to watch the 50 year thing ... but, forgot to do it.
(Lately ... I forget many things. Like zipping up my pants... Jackee's always telling me. )
