Going back to my sipping tea with George Harrison, I told him I knew about Paul recommending him to John Lennon,
but John thought he was too young.

George said: "Yeah, I was 14 at the time but managed to audition for Lennon on one of those Red Rose Upper Deck Busses."

I said: "It's very well known your exceptional guitar playing got you into the band."

George replied: "Besides that, I'm also adorable."
