Yo Max, Thanks for thinking of me...However........Nothing personal against the old gent, my Father would buy a good tenor banjo that may come up for sale just to keep it out of the hands of one who would tune it like a baritone ukelele! Which is what this guy is doing. Honest, then he'd find it a "Proper" home. The old dude does O K with what he's doing, but not ready for prime time.


Now that we're on the subject of early jazz, tenor or plectrum banjo, go to you tube and check out names such as Tyler Jackson Johnny Baier, Buddy Wachter, Paul Ericson and Sean Moyses. I could go on and on.

My good friend and TENOR banjo player (tuned C G D A) Vern Nelson , who now resides in Florida, has a steady two hour gig every Friday...Vern is 99 years old and drives himself to the gig. Gott admit that driving part is kinda scary! Stay well... TC
