FB message showed up on his daughters name of Kathryn Julie. Details of cause was not given. She did write a very loving memory....Starts out with, "My Dad is a Badass" and goes to mention he was a Vietnam vet, Police officer and loving family man. Of course his appreciation of our music is included.
