I'm sure that you're right about this ....
the problem is time.
It was over 60 years ago.
I made my recording of NBJ in 1963.
I'll be 80 in December.
A recording of the Trio with Dave would have had to be made by someone older than me.
Odds are....anyone who recoreded Dave is with him now.
Somewhere .... in an old box in an attic.....
there might be a tape.
Whether it has stood the test of time ..........
About a week ago, I came across the tape I made.
It had already disintigrated when it became CD.
Luckily... Allan Shaw had digitised a copy I made of the original tape that was a higher quality tape.
But, you never know....
some grandson or daughter might find a long forgotten tape of grandpaw's.
I made a tape of a Glen Yarbrough concert in about 1968.
I haven't tried to play it in years.
I have 3 tape machines....
Haven't used any of them in a long time.
Somewhere in a place like this .... there might be a surprise...
