Are the Marvinettes coming to the end of their 10 year leased run and is Mike preparing a plan B for income? Previous Message
I've been studying screewriting for about 5 years.
And, got serious about it a year or so ago.
One of the rules is that a story never begins where the story begins.
Another rule is NEVER follow the rules.
You have to junp in where what the begining produced that will interest an audience.
Also, I hate flashbacks.
I hate to say it .....
But ....
Begining with Nick's father is a darn good idea.
The best stories and movies are all the same.
They're called Coming of Age Stories.
Every Hallmark movie is the same.
The one thing that all of the Trio members had, including John, was that they were never able to please their fathers.
It was the tie that bound them the most.
In a typical Coming of Age Story ....
They would overcome this problem.
BTW, every protagonist has two problems.
An internal one and an external one.
Their dads were their internal problems....
The external one was their not killing each other ... which they often did.
Soooooooooooooo
How many partners has Mike killed off now?
Max
