as well as "Home Before Dark." Nice slection of songs.
As fate would have it, Columbia Records dumped Judy Collins when her "Fires of Eden" album failed to sell and Columbia also dumped Ari Hest.
So both Judy and Ari had that in common too.
I like Ari Hest but is he on the same level as Leonard Cohen or Bob Dylan or Paul Simon or Phil Ochs?
I don't have the album "Silver Skies Blue" recorded by Judy & Ari, but since it's been released on vinyl, I'm tempted to buy it.

Seems rather quiet here so I thought I'd stir things up.
No, not in a bad way but with a song from an album JUDY COLLINS recorded with ARI HEST.
Prior to their album SILVER SKIES BLUE, Judy Collins never recorded an LP or CD with anyone else before.
(he's 4 decades her junior)
[CD released in 2016 / LP released just now in 2024]
Judy loved Ari Hest: loved the way he looked, loved the way he sang and loved the way he wrote songs.
Judy enjoyed singing with him on stage or in a recording studio. They spent many hours together.
Ari is married and I don't believe he and Judy were romantically involved.
Song: HOME BEFORE DARK
I packed up my bags
Put in my favorite Levis
Laid my mandolin beside the door
Said to Mama
I won't be long
Don't worry about me
I'll be home before dark
I'll be alright
And you'll be fine without me
I'll be home before dark
