Paul, if you're going to be the sender of a lot of files, yes, there's a fee. I pay $9 a month for unlimited files being sent. But you can get their free version which allows you to send 5 files a month. And I mean big files. I use it to send movies to my kids. 4-5 Gb files. However, if you're the recipient, it costs nothing. If I was to send you a file, an entire movie, its just part of my $9 a month and costs you nothing to download it as an .mp4 file. Some years ago I started ripping all my DVD and Blu-ray disks to .mp4. I have a 6Tb external hard drive hooked up to my TV. When I want to watch a movie, I simply change the input to the hard drive and browse to whatever movie I want. Whenever I buy a new movie, I do the same thing. All my physical disks are packed away. I don't use or need them any more. And last time I checked, I have close to 1,500 movies in my collection. From Wings, a B/W silent which was the first to ever win and Oscar for best picture, to the most recent movies out there, like Oppenheimer. And the ripping process does nothing to degrade the quality of the films. Name a movie, and there's a good chance I have it on my drive! Previous Message Rick, dropsend states "try for free" does this mean you eventually pay? Previous Message Larry, wanna see the film? Send me your e-mail address and I'll send it to you via DropSend, a free service for sending big files. I use it all the time to share videos. Previous Message Haven't seen the film, but according to Internet Movie Data Base [IMDB], Randy wrote a dozen songs, including Today , for the 1964 western comedy Advance To The Rear . The songs were performed on the soundtrack by Randy and the Christies. Previous Message
