Last night my wife and I attended a Gordon Lightfoot Tribute show. The show was great. A gent by the name of Mike Fornes was the "Gord" guy, he did a very nice job. The back up group was excellent. They did two sets at a local theatre. This fella seems like he may have been a protege of some sort.
He had quite a few stories that leaned that way and obviously had spent some time with Gord himself.
This morning, they would need an early start, as they were driving from here (S E Michigan) to the "GreatLakes Shipwreck Museum, at Whitefish Point. This is on Lake Superior in Michigan's upper peninsula. At least a ten hour drive. They have appeared each year for the past sixteen, to play a tribute to the Edmund Fitgerald.
If they come to a theatre, near you, I highly recommend the show.
There sure were A LOT OF old people there, now that you mention it :>)
