The recent thread about John Stewart's Daydream Believer reminds me again of an unusual performance of the song. First stop on a business trip to Europe was Prague. At baggage claim we saw a group of beefy young men smartly dressed in blue blazers and khaki trousers, all speaking with a definite Australian accent. Based on their appearance and accent, I immediately assumed they were a rugby team in the city for a tournament. Later that afternoon we walked off our jet lag in the historic "old town" part of the city. Going down one of the narrow streets, we heard loud singing in the distance. Getting closer, we located the source - a British style pub. Peeking in the door, we saw the team all waving mugs of beer and gustily singing JS' song. About 5-6 of them were standing up on the bar leading the chorus.
