Rick, thanks for posting this. I did not find A Million Miles Away on Netflix. I think you may have watched it on Amazon Prime which, unfortunately, I don't subscribe to. I guess I'll have to wait for my library to get the DVD or for it to show up on one of the other pay channels I get. Oh well.
I recently did see this CBS Mornings story about José M. Hernández's life.

I went browsing on Netflix last night, looking for a movie to watch and one called A Million Miles Away caught my eye. Stars Michael Pena, who I like, as a Mexican migrant boy, who comes to America with his family to work in the fields. He's a gifted student who dreams of becoming an astronaut. That's why I watched it. I have always had a love of the space program. Anyway, it has a great soundtrack. Lots of oldies. It started off with California Dreaming first sung in Spanish then the Mamas and Papas version in English. I waS enjoying the movie and the music when what to my surprise comes on The Trio singing This Land Is Your Land! Nick, Bob and Dave, right off the Going Places album. Really surprised me and made my night. So, the Trio is still alive and well!
