I'm just a Kingston Trio fan, nothing more.
In addition, I got a wife and 3 kids and tiny house. Tiny but it's got a big mortgage so that sorta makes up for it.
Reading the thread below about The Kingston Trio & Friends Reunion Show, got me thinking about this dynamic legendary folk group of ours.
So Dave Guard when interviewed said KT fans would be disappointed in the show.
Bob Shane said he didn't give a damn what Dave Guard said. Bob wanted to promote his current Kingston Trio, consisting of himself singing together
with George Grove and Roger Gambill. Bob Shane even went further saying his current trio was a better group musically. (better than NBD & NBJ)
Over the years, I've had lots of dealings with people. Some good and some not so good. Some so highly educated and so knowledgable, I felt intimidated.
But it's not education or knowledge or talent that makes a person special. We worship celebrities, but I've stopped doing that. Discussing The Kingston Trio Reunion Show
made me think about it.
The highest form of wisdom is not knowledge, not education, not talent. The highest form of wisdom is kindness.
