Bringing It All Back Home
Highway 61 Revisited
John Wesley Harding
Nashville Skyline (Dylan's voice sounds different here)
Desire
Blood On The Tracks
Rough & Rowdy Ways
I mostly listen to his stuff done by other people with more pleasant voices but do have a bunch of his recordings which I listen to from time to time. I would say the general intelligence and poetry of the lyrics, not necessarily any political message.
As great a song writer as Bob Dylan is (And he is), I can barely stand listening to him sing. I never bought a Dylan album in my life. Tangled Up In Blue is one of the few songs I enjoy his singing on. So guys and gals, did you buy Dylan's records for the sound or his message? MTABob
