Max, I've owned a Taylor 814ce model. It's the company's flagship model and the Grand Auditorium body style is often termed their "Swiss Army Knife" of guitars as it's well-suited to many different styles of music. Currently, I have the maple back-and-sides Taylor 614ce which is the same guitar but with maple back-and-sides compared to the Taylor 814ce's rosewood back-and-sides. I love the Grand Auditorium body style!

Taylor essentially revamped the entire guitar industry with their consistent high-quality manufacturing processes which forced Martin and Gibson to do the same.
