Pickles are very much in my youth......

My grandmother made water melon rind pickles and many others.

My father made green tomato pickles .... which I loved.


I was going to make pickles...threatened to do it many times.

A friend gave me two big clay crocks for x-mas one year....

I haven't done it because we can't grow tomatoes were we live now...our yard has too many big trees ... not enough sun light to grow anything.

I have recently discovered Grillo's pickles....

Wow !!! They cost $6 a jar.... Can't afford them. I got lucky last week and found them on sale for $4.00 Coudn't resist.


This morning ... I went searching on-line for green tomato pickles...

Found these... evidently I'm in good company as a green tomato pickle lover.............
