A Very Nice Gesture, indeed, even though when the song first came out there was some opposition to it as some people thought Gord was cashing in on a tragedy. Can anyone expand on this for us?

As the song says..."In a musty old hall" Referring to the Mariner's Cathedral in Detroit. The bell rang 29 times, so the song goes. On the Monday after Gord's passing, the bell rang 30 times. A very nice gesture...
