Operating on the premise that any Trio appearance on the web is worthy of notice, I'd like to share this article from SFiST.com, one of many really good websites that has sprung up in the last few decades celebrating everything from major cities to the smallest of towns and their claims to fame and points of pride.

Of special interest to me are the two very large and beautiful photos of The Trident near the top of the article. I've been to SF a few times in my years in the LA area, but I never managed to get to the restaurant - and I'll make a point of doing so on my next visit. Since the eatery is in Sausalito, that means I can also look forward to cruising across the Golden Gate Bridge to get there, and that is certainly one of the most marvelous things you can do in California, and for my money in the whole USA as well.
