Well, Max, I looked at the video and couldn't see a shot good enough to ID Bob's banjo.

I also searched and couldn't find any still photo of Bob with the Bacon & Day. In fact, there are few photos of Bob holding any banjo. From the album covers, we know only that Bob had traded in his Bacon & Day before the release of String Along in July 1960.

Until the reunion concert in 1981, I never knew that Bob played banjo on Tom Dooley. I had always assumed it was Dave.
