Most of us here are on fixed incomes.....

That haven't gone up...even though living costs have due to inflation.....

Kroger has 19 stores in Louisville where I live.

They closed 3 stores in poor neighborhoods.

They're the 3rd largest retailer in the US.

Now, they're trying to merge with another big grocery chain.

Valumarket had a store near us.... They had some great stuff.

The shopping center they were in was torn down, and a larger one was built in its place. None of the remaining stores are near us.

Another independent store nearby along with one other closed.

The little guys can't compete with Kroger.

Aldi's the only one here that's survived.
