"Born at the Right Time" is no slouch either. Both of the FLT cd's are excellent as well.
Dvd's
"Folk Music reunion" with KT < Limes Bros. 4 etc is a treasure. "Everybody's Talkin", "Live at Yuma Theatre", "Lake Michigan Concert", "50 years of Having Fun", the Christmas cd with George, Bill, Rick, Banjo arrangements of KT with George Grove as well. And I don't even play the 5 string banjo, it's fun to watch :>)
Sometimes Glen Yarborough , Jim Croce, a few others.
Being "BI" musical, my taste for pop radio stuff went away in the late 60's during what I refer to as the "Jimi Hendrix Era" Not knocking it or any thing else, just not my taste. Pretty much gave up the radio all together by the 70's. Much of the 70's Country stuff caught my attention. I had a steady gig in "Hell"... not the real Hell, but a small town with the same name in SE Michigan. This turned out to be a steady and lucrative weekend solo gig for most of an entire year. They loved Elvis, Rock a billy, and 50's oldies. They also loved the country of the era, which had me learning some stuff from Johnny Paycheck, Cal Smith and others.
For me ... it was Bacharach....
This one was a big favorite ...
