Re: Boots of Spanish Leather
The Times They Are A-Changin' album as well as the song itself is timeless. Also impressive is Bob Dylan's ability to write these amazing songs at such a young age.
The photograph of Bob Dylan on the jacket cover also speaks volumes.
Bob Dylan's "Things Have Changed" is a real fine song 'specially when you consider he wrote it about 40 years after "Don't Think Twice."
To be able to have that knack after for so many years is mind-boggling! Pure genius if you ask me.
With regards to "Boots Of Spanish Leather", the so-called dialogue between Suze Rotolo and Bob Dylan really hits home.
I never thought it was inspired by the break up of these two lovebirds on the cover of Bob Dylans "Freewheelin'" album.
Not only is "Boots" a great song but the entire "Times They Are A-Changin'" album is nothing less than a masterpiece.
Below is my favorite Dylan song...
The most interesting thing I ever heard him say ....
He was asked what his greatest thrill was....
He said ....
Having one of my songs recorded by Elvis...
