Martin strings are okay, and I have many sets of them, and they're Made in Mexico whereas my favorite string brand, D'Addario strings are Made in USA. D'Addario (pronounced Dadario and not Deeadario) also makes strings for other brands who then put their own name on the package. D'Addario is an innovative company that constantly strives to develop better strings to enhance the tone of stringed instruments.
