Thanks, Jim! It's nice to know that some folks are watching or listening to some of the things I post here on Kingston Crossroads. It's even nicer to see folks posting about anything in SASS as it was meant as a sort of gather-round-type medium to try to breathe some life into Crossroads. The thing I'm thinking is that many of us Kingston Trio/Folk Music/Americana/Rock fans have left us or no longer have much interest in posting to a community of this sort. I thank those who've remained regulars and encourage those who have wandered away to wander on back. Anyway, enough of my usual whining, and back to the music!

Possibly so, Ken, but I think our ranks may have thinned
somewhat over the years from mortality and the
passage of time. Also, we’ve covered a lot of ground
the last 25 years, and though I believe there’s still
a lot more to say - like maybe a new look at old records
while reflecting on how their meanings may have changed
for us over six decades and more - Xroads remains our
forum to value and appreciate.

Ken -
The PP&M clip is likely my favorite single video that we have from the entire folk era, and while the immediate source may be the Wasn't That A Time video history of that trio, I'm pretty sure that the ultimate source was Murray Lerner's 1967 film Festival chronicling the 1963-66 Newport Folk Festivals.
Thanks to the wonders of the modern age, Lerner's film has been available on DVD since 2006. I've seen most of it and it's great - I've been meaning to buy it. Somewhere there must be a complete set of discs, though at the moment all that Amazon has is a 1.5 hour "best of" kind of thing.
So this is a roundabout way of saying - yeah, keep 'em coming. Previous Message
Does anyone out there like this video? If so, shout it out from the rooftops right here on Kingston Crossroads and yell and scream your thoughts and memories about Peter, Paul & Mary! Let everyone know you're alive and kicking!

I just saw a new thread "If you like Peter Paul and Mary" over to Acoustic Guitar Forum with this great video! I posted my thoughts under my AGF moniker "SpruceTop." Any y'all taken my advice and checked out or joined AGF? It ain't just about guitars but all that and everything surrounding guitars, banjos, other instruments, and the artists and gear associated with the whole shebang! The link to this AGF thread is at the bottom of this message. I urge you to view this video in its larger format on YouTube--Enjoy! Larger Screen Format:
