The Bus Driver somehow recognized Bob and said: I know you. You're that Kingston Trio guy."
Bob Shane told him he was.
The Bus Driver told Bob there was no charge for anywhere he wanted to go.
But he wanted to know what Bob Shane's favourite Kingston Trio album was.
Bob told him he had no favourites and that the only album he didn't like was "Children of the Morning".
So what did our friendly Montreal Bus Driver do?
ACCELERATOR...BRAKE...ACCELERATOR...BRAKE...ACCELERATOR...BRAKE...ACCELERATOR...BRAKE
You see, Susan, one of our Bus Driver's kids was on the album cover of "Children of the Morning" !!! {hahaha}
Brucester
ps: only kidding about Bob driving on our bus, but in real life ~> Bob Shane did NOT like "Children of the Morning"...
and the only song he was okay with was "When You've Been Away For A Long Time"...
yet Bob felt they should've worked harder to make it sound better.

> SPEAKING OF BUS DRIVERS >
Our guys who drive in Montreal must've enrolled in Bob Newhart's School For Bus Drivers.
I noticed every time a woman got on the bus carrying packages, the Bus Driver would hit the accelerator...
then hit the brake...then hit the accelerator again...then the brake...
Those poor ladies would end up spinning all the way to the back of the bus !!!
