Judith, Karen Carpenter and Eva Cassidy are my favorite female vocalists of all time. A very sad day indeed.

Judith Durham has just passed away aged 79.
She is the first member of The Seekers to leave us, thus finally putting an end to future reunions of the group.
Many will know that Dave Guard wanted Judith to join him in a new group in the mid-sixties and that she had planned to join him before The Seekers unexpectedly hit it big in the UK.
No cause of death has yet been announced.
