One of my favorite songs is "On the Road to Find Out" from his Tea for Tillerman album. I think the FLT could do a tremendous job on the harmonies.

Hi Ken,
I do appreciate all of the SASS you post. I'm a HUGE Cat Stevens fan. I saw him in concert circa 1971 in Hampton, VA -- I remember it as one of the best concerts I've ever seen. It began with an animation projected onto the ceiling of Teaser and the Firecat riding a magic carpet and a moon, with the shadow of the moon following them. The recording of "Moonshadow" was playing. All of a sudden I realized that the recorded music had been replaced by a live Cat Stevens on stage, with just a pinpoint spotlight on his face, which was framed by all of that black hair and beard. When the stage lights came up he was wearing a black turtleneck, black pants and knee-high black boots. He had a string section behind a black scrim.
Some things remain with you all of your life. This concert was one of those memories for me. The FLT has talked about including Cat Stevens into our show. The problem is there are so many great songs of his which are just flat-out folk songs, so which should we choose? I could make a case for at least ten of them.
